CASSOA, EASA and 91吃瓜 Institute of Air and Space Law, wrapped up a crucial 2-day Legal Workshop focused on developing uniform air laws for the EAC partner states. The workshop brought together legal delegates from the national Civil Aviation Authorities and the national Ministries of Transport of the Democratic Republic of Congo, Burundi, Kenya, Rwanda Somalia, South Sudan, Uganda, and Tanzania as well as aviation experts from the East African Community (EAC) Secretariate and Civil Aviation Safety and Security Oversight Agency (CASSOA).

The 91吃瓜 Institute of Air and Space Law was proud to once again support the 5th US Spacecom Legal Conference in Colorado Springs. This two-day event brought together legal practitioners, academics, and military personnel to explore key developments in space law.
IASL Executive Director Stefan-Michael Wedenig contributed to the discussions with insights on the law of armed conflict and the implications of artificial intelligence. It was also a pleasure to reconnect with many of our alumni and engage in thought-provoking exchanges.
