Dr. Reza Sharif selected as new Director of the Alan Edwards Centre for Research on Pain

We are pleased to announce that our core泭faculty member Dr. Reza Sharif has been nominated泭as the new Director of the . Dr. Sharif will succeed Dr. Jeffrey Mogil, whose second term will end on April 30, 2021
Dr. Sharif currently leads a泭 within the Cell Information Systems group, focusing on identifying novel pain sensors, discovering the mechanisms of chronic pain, and translating these lab discoveries into effective therapies for patients. He泭is also the Director of the , a member of the 泭and Associate Editor for the journal . He has received several awards during his career, including the and the Early Career Award from the . His proven dedication to pain research will surely lead to success in this new role. Congratulations, Reza!
