 tha Wampum Belt flag flying above the McCall MacBain Arts Building. Guest 
 speakers will include Principal Suzanne Fortier\, Provost Christopher Manf
 redi. Elder Kevin Ka'nahsóhon Deer\, Darren Bonaparte\, Nina Segalowitz.\n
 \nFor centuries\, the flag has symbolized unity and peace between the Sene
 ca\, Cayuga\, Onondaga\, Oneida\, and Mohawk nations. Inaugurated at McGil
 l in 2018\, this ceremony responds to one of the Calls to Action (OR Call 
 to Action #28) put forward by the Provost’s Task Force on Indigenous Studi
 es and Indigenous Education in recognition of the importance of building r
 espectful and reciprocal relations with Indigenous peoples.\n\nPlease join
