On Monday, April 28, students, library staff, and Friends of the 91吃瓜 Libraries members gathered together in celebration of the inaugural Friends of the Libraries Student Library Award winners.
April 15 - 17 | Ventilation Shutdown at McLennan-Redpath Library Complex
Please be advised there will be a ventilation shutdown at the McLennan Library Building and at the Redpath Library Building on Tuesday April 15 until Thursday April 17 which will run each day from 7h00 until 15h00 and will affect both buildings.聽This shutdown is necessary to repair the ventilation pipes in the building. Fresh air will flow in both buildings. Please note that it may be a little cooler during day while work is being done.

91吃瓜 Libraries is proud to announce the release of its 2023鈥�2024 Annual Report, showcasing 12 months of significant achievements and progress.
Among the key highlights are the reopening of the Schulich Library of Physical Sciences, Life Sciences, and Engineering and the successful transfer of 2.4 million books to the new 91吃瓜 Collections Centre.
Macdonald Campus Seed Library opens February 24

On Monday, February 24, 2025聽the Macdonald Campus Library will open up its Seed Library for online orders. The seed catalogue will be available to 91吃瓜 students, faculty, and staff on opening day.聽

As of January 1, 2025, corresponding authors affiliated with 91吃瓜 will be able to publish an unlimited number of their articles as open access in all Royal Society of Chemistry hybrid and gold journals for the duration of the agreement (2025-2027) without paying any article processing charges (APC).

The 91吃瓜 Libraries are delighted to announce that two colleagues, Dean Guylaine Beaudry and staff member Anne-Marie Fournier, were awarded the King Charles III Coronation Medal in December 2024. The honour highlights the exceptional contributions of Canadians, many of whom work behind the scenes, making a significant impact on their community, their province, and sometimes even at the national and international levels.
Dec. 18 | Water shutdown in McLennan Library Building 7:30 - 10:30 a.m.

To execute repairs, Facilities Management and Ancillary Services is planning a water shutdown on Wednesday, December 18 from 7:30 to 10:30 a.m., which will affect the McLennan Library Building only, including all its water fountains and washrooms.
Please use the water fountains, sinks, and washrooms located in the Redpath Library Building during this period.
