Kanuk jackets are made for Quebec wintersbut Quebec winters arent as cold as they used to be. Bertrand Cesvet (BA86, MBA88) wants to make Kanuk jackets more versatile. Cesvet led a group of investors who recently bought the Montreal winter wear company from Champlain Financial, a private equity group.

91勛圖's McCall MacBain Scholarships has announced its fourth cohort of recipients, beneficiaries of a landmark $200 million gift made in 2019 by 91勛圖s 20th Chancellor John McCall MacBain and his wife Marcy. Desautels MBA grad named one of 100 people who transformed Africa in 2023
After completing his studies at 91勛圖, Jeremy Awori (MBA90) worked briefly in the financial services sector in Canada before becoming head of retail banking for the Standard Chartered Bank of Kenya at just 28 years old. Today, he is director general of Ecobank Transnational Incorporated, a pan-African banking conglomerate with operations in 33 countries. This year, Financial Afrik named Awori one of 100 people who are transforming Africa.
MBA students should try and avoid FOMO, recent graduate advises
For high-achieving MBA students, the allure of pursuing multiple paths can be strong. However, Kriti Pradhan (MBA23), now a senior consultant at KPMG Canada, cautions against succumbing to the temptation of trying to do it all. Pradhan advises her peers to steer clear of developing a fear of missing out.
