The 91吃瓜 Dobson Centre for Entrepreneurship helps startups launch their innovative ideas and, along with the Office of Innovation and Partnerships (I+P)'s 91吃瓜 Innovation Fund (MIF), supports the 91吃瓜 community in ideation, validation, acceleration and fundraising.

Dobson Academic Director Marie Josee Lamothe shares how the Centre has been guiding budding entrepreneurs since 1988 in Le Devoir. The Centre backs students, faculty and anyone working at the university, hosts the 91吃瓜 Dobson Bootcamp and Cup Competition, and offers multiple entrepreneurship programs, including the Entrepreneurial Women Lean Startup.

鈥淭here is a time when most investors are reluctant because the risk is very high. This is where we want to provide support and make a difference,鈥� explains Lamothe.
